Every year, more scout troops participate in Growing Native . As a result of the increasing number of troops getting nuts for clean water, we have designed Go Nuts for Scouting !

Through this project, scouts can earn a Growing Native patch and fulfill requirements toward official scout pins and badges while learning about the seeds-to-trees-to-clean-water cycle. Our guides are available for download below. These booklets include details about why native trees are so crucial to watershed health, steps for earning a Growing Native patch, and the processes involved in Growing Native seed collection activities for additional badges and awards—all while contributing to the improvement of our local communities.
