Thank You to All Partners and Volunteers!
Potomac Conservancy's 2008 Growing Native fall seed collection season a success!

A big thank you to all partners and volunteers who participated in the Growing Native fall 2008 seed collection season! Nearly 5,000 individuals contributed to the success of the project, collecting over 9,000 pounds of acorns, walnuts, and other native hardwood season. The was quite a feat since there was a noted acorn shortage in the Watershed this fall!

Read more about the acorn shortage, featured in the Washington Post and on CNN.

Thank you again for all your help and we look forward to collecting with you in 2009!
